Abstract:
This study examines how entrepreneurial education (EE) shapes Entrepreneurial Intention (EI) by emphasizing the role of self‑efficacy (SE) and its links with autonomy (AU), innovativeness (IN), and risk‑taking propensity (RT). Using PLS‑SEM on 345 valid survey responses from Vietnam, the model specifies EE as the antecedent and EI as the outcome, with SE related to AU, IN, and RT. The results show a meaningful association between SE and AU that subsequently affects EI, while IN and RT also act as mediators. The findings highlight the interplay among SE, AU, IN, and RT in transmitting the effects of EE to EI. Several managerial implications are proposed to strengthen entrepreneurial motivation by nurturing a sense of agency and autonomous decision‑making among young individuals in the Vietnamese context.
