Abstract:

The escalating issue of graduate unemployment is mostly associated with entrepreneurship, and scholars specializing in entrepreneurship emphasize promoting university students’ involvement in entrepreneurial activities. Thus, this research aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurship education and creativity on students’ entrepreneurial intentions (EnIn) via components of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model. Information was collected from 205 third-year business students enrolled at universities in Vietnam using Google Forms. Structural equation modeling was implemented to analyze the data. The findings revealed that the components of the TPB (attitudes towards behavior - AtTB, subjective norms - SuN, and perceived behavioral control - PeBC) directly and positively influenced students’ EnIn. A further research finding was that EnEd substantially benefited students’ EnIn and students’ AtTB, SuN, and PeBC. Furthermore, the research revealed that creativity substantially influenced students’ EnIn, AtTB, SuN, and PeBC. Additionally, this study provides implications for theory and management and recommendations for more research.
