Abstract:
Competencies are a key determinant of personal and professional success. This article presents the results of research focused on the evaluation and analysis of team members’ competencies and characteristics. The basic hypothesis was that the combined assessment of an individual’s competencies by both the entire team and the team leader could provide a more objective and accurate evaluation of their competencies and potential. Experimental verification was carried out in a team of university graduates prepared for practice. Competencies related to team leadership, project management and creative problem solving were mainly assessed. The results confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approach, in particular, the possibility of identifying assessment congruence and the possibility of identifying team members who may be suitable for specific key tasks.
