Abstract:

Contemporary education is undergoing significant transformations through the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the learning process. This paper provides a comprehensive theoretical overview of AI-supported learning methodologies and presents empirical research on their impact on the educational process. The theoretical section explores six fundamental AI-supported approaches: personalized learning, gamification, virtual assistants, problem-based learning, AI-supported collaborative learning, and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) technologies. Empirical research on Information Technology students demonstrates that AI technologies complement traditional methods, creating synergy particularly pronounced in collaborative learning. The findings have significant implications for designing future educational programs and integrating technology in higher education.

Keywords – Artificial intelligence in education, collaborative learning, AI-supported methodologies, personalized learning, educational technologies.
