The primary aim is to highlight the financial influence and implications of creative industries on the Republic’s of Serbia economy. The introductory section focuses on defining creative industries to provide a clear understanding of their scope and framework. The analysis then presents data on the gross value added (GVA) and gross domestic product (GDP) of creative industries and their share in Serbia's overall GDP for 2021–2023. The study is grounded on two hypotheses, one stating that CI have a significant share of the overall GDP of Serbia, and the other that CI generate a significant percentage of the total employment in the Republic of Serbia. Furthermore, the study explores employment within the sector, wage levels, the number of business entities, export performance, and other key indicators.
