Abstract:
This study demonstrates ward managers' critical role in improving nursing performance through structured direction (handovers, rounds, conferences, admissions, discharge planning). Analyzing 139 nurses at Adam Malik Hospital, using Spearman's analysis revealed significant positive correlations (p<0.05). Findings prove ward managers' strategic impact on both individual performance and overall care quality, providing empirical evidence for leadership development in hospital nursing services.
Keywords – Ward management, nursing performance, clinical leadership, structured direction, quality improvement. |
