Abstract:
In recent years, smartphones and mobile applications have become more popular, offering useful features and real-time services that simplify daily tasks. In particular, mobile applications can help reduce congestion by optimizing traffic flow, improving coordination, and enhancing decision-making through real-time data. By leveraging location-based services and automated scheduling, they enable more efficient transportation management. This paper addresses Saudi Arabia's population growth and the associated traffic congestion by proposing an efficient school dismissal system. The system consists of two applications (web-based and mobile) designed to minimize congestion and waiting times for parents by utilizing real-time services on mobile devices. Through acceptance testing, the application's suitability has been validated. The system's effectiveness is demonstrated by comparing results before and after its implementation, based on density, mean speed, and waiting time.
