INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

 

Submission Checklist:

1. Use the Microsoft Word template to prepare your manuscript

2. Make sure that issues about publication ethics, copyright, authorship, figure formats, data and references format have been appropriately considered.


3. Ensure that all authors have approved the content of the submitted manuscript.

Manuscripts submitted to TEM Journal should neither been published before nor be under consideration for publication in another journal or conference.

Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

We are using professional tools from preventing plagiarism.

            

  1. The recommended, but not limited text processor is Microsoft Word (docx).
  2. Regular length of the paper is 6 to 14 pages.
  3. Times New Roman 11 point’s font should be used for normal text. The manuscript has to be prepared in two columns separated by 5 mm.
  4. Regular paper may be divided in a number of sections. Section titles (including references and acknowledgements) should be typed using 11 pt fonts with bold option. Sections can be split in subsections, which should be typed in 10 pt Italic options.
  5. Figures should be one column wide. If it is impossible to place the figure in one column, two column width figure is allowed. Each figure must have a caption under the figure. For the figure captions 10 pt font, italic should be used.
  6. Title - should be concise, omitting terms that are implicit and, where possible, be a statement of the main result or conclusion presented in the manuscript. Abbreviations should be avoided within the title.
  7. Authors and affiliations - all names are listed together and separated by commas. Provide exact and correct author names as these will be indexed in official archives.
  8. Corresponding author - clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication.
  9. Abstract -insert an abstract of 50-100 words, giving a brief account of the most relevant aspects of the paper.
  10. Keywords - it is recommended to use 4 or 5 keywords.
  11. Introduction - state the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
  12. Material and methods - provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.
  13. Results - should be clear and concise.
  14. Discussion - this should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
  15. Conclusion - be brief and state the most important conclusions from your paper. Do not use equations and figures here.
  16. Acknowledgements - in this section you can acknowledge any support related to manuscript. Also provide here any information about funding by including specific grant numbers and titles.
  17. References - TEM Journal uses IEEE and APA styles. Use the IEEE style in the text and APA style in the reference section. Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa).
